In a perfect world ...

In a perfect world children would all remain with their biological parents, who would be ready and eager to parent them. Unfortunately, we know that this is not always the case. Sometimes expectant parents feel unable to parent a child due to their circumstances.

Kentucky Adoption Services, Inc. understands the confusion of an unplanned pregnancy and offers free personal counseling, assistance and education for birth parents as they plan for the welfare of their child. Assistance may include help with obtaining medical care, transportation and other essentials necessary for daily life. While considering an adoption plan, birth parents are always treated promptly, respectfully and confidentially.

Birth parents can choose the family they would like to adopt their child. They can also receive pictures and updates after the adoption. Birth parents incur no fees for planning an adoption and are never pressured regarding an adoption decision.
