General Adoptive Parent Requirements for Hong Kong
To be eligible for adoption from Hong Kong both parents must be 25 years of age at the time their dossier is submitted and no more than 55 years of age. Applicants over the age of 55 are not eligible for this program.
Families must have been married for a minimum of 3 years. Previous divorces need to be discussed with agency social worker. Single woman are accepted and must have sufficient support and child care ability.
A minimum income of $30,000 for a family of three (including the child to be adopted.) Families must also meet the USCIS poverty guidelines. |
